Delete your DigiTogether account
Option 1: In the app (immediate)
- Open DigiTogether on your phone and sign in as the parent.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Read the list of what will be deleted, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete my account.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.
Option 2: By email (if you can't use the app)
Send an email to privacy@digitogether.com with the subject "Delete my DigiTogether account", from the email address you used to sign up, so we can verify that the account is yours. We will delete the account and confirm by email within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What is deleted
- Your parent account and profile.
- Every child profile in your family and all of their data: app usage, location history, safe zones, website and YouTube activity, notification records, alerts, screen-time reports, quests, XP, coins, pet, rewards, waves and requests.
- The accounts of your children's linked phones. Those phones leave child mode automatically (within about a minute if online, otherwise the next time they connect).
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Copies may remain in our hosting provider's encrypted backups for a short period until those backups expire. Crash and analytics records held by our service providers are removed according to their retention settings.
Deleting only some data
You can remove individual items such as safe zones and rewards in the app. To delete one child and all of that child's data without deleting your account:
- Open the child on your dashboard, then their settings.
- Tap Remove <child's name>, type the child's name to confirm, and tap Remove.
The child's profile, rules, activity, locations, web history, screen time, rewards, coins and pet are deleted right away. Their phone leaves child mode within about a minute, or when it's next online. Your other children and your account stay. Can't use the app? Email privacy@digitogether.com from your account's email address and tell us which child.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it in Google Play: Payments & subscriptions.
